About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech Therapist Assistant (SLPA) to join our home care team. In this role, you will support Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering quality care to both adult and pediatric patients in home-based settings. You will play a critical part in helping patients improve their communication skills while enjoying flexible scheduling and a supportive work culture.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services as directed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Follow customized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy activities as needed.
- Evaluate therapy outcomes and collaborate with the supervising SLP for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with PTs, OTs, and other team members to provide integrated, multidisciplinary care.
- Use CFR’s online documentation system and therapy tools provided for streamlined workflow.
- Treat both adult and pediatric populations in their homes or day care settings.
Qualifications:
- Certified by the National Board for Certification.
- Valid and current state license as a Speech Therapist Assistant.
- Experience working with both pediatric and adult populations.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical reasoning skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in patient care.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Structure:
- Pay Per Visit: $33 – $38 per follow-up visit
- Flexible Schedule: 32 visits per week is the only expectation
