About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist with a focus on pediatrics to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive Physical therapy services to children at our clinic in Cary, NC. You will play a vital role in helping children develop essential skills, achieve developmental milestones, and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
● Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify children’s needs, developmental delays, and functional limitations.
● Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific goals and promote age-appropriate development.
● Utilize play-based therapy, sensory integration techniques, and other evidence-based approaches to engage children in the therapeutic process.
● Evaluate therapy outcomes, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans for optimal results.
● Educate and engage parents and caregivers in the treatment process, providing them with strategies and resources to support their child’s development.
● Collaborate effectively with Speech and Occupational Therapists, early intervention specialists, and other members of the child’s care team to deliver integrated and holistic care.
● Stay up-to-date with advancements in pediatric Physical therapy treatment practices, ensuring children receive the highest quality of care.
● Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions.
Qualifications:
- Certified by the National Board for Certification.
- Valid and current state license in Physical Therapy.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgment and initiative when analyzing problems and recommending solutions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and child engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working with diverse pediatric populations, including infants, toddlers, children, and adolescents.
- Knowledge of child development milestones and appropriate assessment tools.
