Exploring the world through the five senses — touch, taste, smell, sight, and sound.

PLAY SPACES

Enjoy our new play space just for kids with toys, a nursing room and more!

Sensory Playground is Still Available: Children with Autism and Sensory Processing Disorders may find challenges with socialization, communication, play and imagination.

Some children who have sensory challenges may be over-sensitive to loud noises, harsh tastes, or rough textures.

Regardless of age or developmental ability, one of the best places to encourage sensory experiences among children is at the playground.
Sensory playground helps children develop problem-solving skills, express emotion, promotes empathy and engenders lasting confidence.

BENEFITS OF SENSORY PLAY

1. Cognitive Development
2. Fine Motor Skills
3. Language Development
4. Relaxation
5. Self-Awareness

Sensory development is the brain’s way of exploring the world through the five senses — touch, taste, smell, sight, and sound. Exploring the world through these senses allows a child to discover and understand how the world works.
